Oscar-winning actress Cate Blanchett says makers of the TV series "Downton Abbey" have ignored her attempts to get a part in the period drama.
The actress shared her desire to be a part of the show during an appearance on ITV's "Lorraine" on Wednesday morning, reports dailymail.co.uk.
"I did have words, and I followed up with my agent. No call has yet been received," she said.
However, Blanchett is friends with actress Lily James, who appears in the popular TV series. And Blanchett says she is planning to tell her friend to put in a "good word" for her.
"I'm seeing (James) again today, so I'll get (her) to put a good word in," she said.
