German central defender Jerome Boateng will return on Wednesday to the Bayern Munich's starting line-up in the Bundesliga football league match against Hertha Berlin here, coach Carlo Ancelotti said on Tuesday.
Boateng, 28, player of the year last season in Germany, reappeared on Saturday in a 3-1 win against Ingolstadt when he played for seven minutes after two months out, reports Efe.
"He is in a good condition. He has trained well over the last few days," said Ancelotti.
Also returning to training were skipper Philipp Lahm, David Alaba and Thomas Muller, who had stomach flu, as well as Mats Hummels, who had a cold. "They are ready," Ancelotti said.
Dutch winger Arjen Robben has also returned to training and is available but will start the game on the bench.
"He might play in the second half. Maybe 30 or 45 minutes," said the Italian coach.
