Boca Juniors will meet FC Barcelona in a friendly at the Camp Nou stadium in Barcelona in August, the Argentine football club's president has said.
The teams will vie for the Joan Gamper trophy, a traditional match played in the Catalan capital before the Spanish domestic season, reports Xinhua news agency.
"We will travel to face Barcelona in August," Boca president Daniel Angelici told Radio Cooperativa on Monday.
The Buenos Aires giants have participated in the annual fixture once before, losing 1-2 to then Pep Guardiola-coached Barcelona in 2008.
Last year the fixture pitted Barcelona against Chapecoense, the Brazilian side that lost most of their players and coaching staff in a 2016 plane crash.
