Boca Juniors drew 2-2 with Palmeiras in the second leg of their Copa Libertadores semi-final and will now meet fellow Argentine giants and arch-rials River Plate in the summit clash.
The final of the 11th edition of of South America's biggest club football competition will thus witness an Argentine 'Superclásico' in which Boca Juniors will seek their seventh Copa Libertadores title and River Plate their fourth.
Boca Juniors arrived stress-free for Wednesday night's clash after the 2-0 first leg victory at the La Bombonera Stadium and confirmed their qualification with a draw in Brazil, reports Efe.
Ramon Ábila put the Argentine team ahead in the 17th minute when the Palmeiras defence lost its concentration.
Qualification seemed assured for Boca Juniors, but the Brazilians woke up in the second half, equalised and then took the lead in a period of less than 10 minutes.
Luan Garcia scored in the 52nd minute for Palmeiras and his Paraguayan team mate Gustavo Gomez scored from the penalty spot in the 60th.

But Boca Juniors' Dario Benedetto, who scored both goals at La Bombonera, came off the bench to bury the Palmeiras team's dream.
