Two powerful bomb blasts rocked the border town of Moreh on Monday evening. Initial reports said that there was no casualty.
The first blast was reported at 7 p.m. and the second at 7.25 p.m. Both the blasts took place at deserted lanes at Moreh. No one has so far claimed responsibility.
Assam Rifles, police and paramilitary personnel rushed to the spots on hearing the sound of the blasts.
Apabi, a local resident at Moreh told IANS that the reverberations of the blast were felt at a considerable distance.
