Indian professional boxer Vijender Singh's fourth fight has been rescheduled from February 13 to March 12 at Echo Arena Liverpool. His opponent will be announced soon.

The reason for rescheduling the fight is an injury to WBO World Lightweight Champion Terry Flanagan who was to take on Derry Mathews for his world title defence. Since this fight -- the main event of the night -- got delayed, other fights too were postponed.

The Mathews versus Flanagan showdown remains the headline attraction on the title-packed show. The other title fights are: red-hot 160 pound talent Tommy Langford defends his WBO Intercontinental Middleweight title defence against Lewis Taylor and English Cruiserweight Champion Matty Askin seeks justice in his rematch against Lawrence Bennett.

The undercard will feature some of the best domestic talent: Former IBF World Bantamweight Champion Paul Butler, Vijender, and Liverpool top talents Tom Stalker, Steven Lewis, Ryan Farrag, Kevin Satchell, hot Manchester prospects Macaulay McGowan and Zelpha Barrett, and Leicester ace Lyon Woodstock.

"It's very unfortunate that my fight on February 13 is rescheduled because of an injury to the contender of title fight. Nevertheless, I am preparing hard and waiting for March 12 when I see my opponent in the ring. I am doing more sparring and physical workout these days and it will help me to prepare myself for more rounds," said Vijender.
