Brazilian striker Hulk has confirmed his intention to stay with Russian club FC Zenit St. Petersburg by extending his contract until the end of the 2018-19 season.
Hulk, who joined Zenit in 2012, has become a permanent fixture in Zenit's starting eleven over the past three seasons and is now arguably the most recognised celebrity living in Russia's northern capital, reports Xinhua.
According to the official site of the club, the new contract is a two-year extension of Hulk's original five-year deal.
The star striker and Brazilian international has scored 44 goals in 92 appearances for the club.
