Oscar winning actress Brie Larson says she tries to take up some sort of meditative hobby to do on set for every film.
"I try and find some sort of meditative hobby to do on set and it's different for every film," Larson said in a statement.
Larson plays a photo-journalist in forthcoming film "Kong: Skull Island", which is all about tracing and capturing a giant monstrous ape named Kong. The film, backed by Warner Bros, is set in the early 1970s, and is a reboot of the King Kong franchise. The film is slated to release on March 10.
Larson says she had taken photography classes years ago, and had learned how to develop film and was excited to get into it again.
"I started taking photos as a way to stay connected and keep my mind active. My camera bag got pretty heavy by the end because I wanted it to look legit, so I had like all my extra lenses and all the film and all that stuff in my bag," she said.
