A British man with Ebola symptoms died Thursday at a health clinic in Macedonia.
It is not confirmed yet if the unnamed British man who was born in 1956 had been infected with the deadly Ebola virus or not, doctor Jovanka Kostovaks of Macedonia'a health ministry's commission of infectious diseases said at a press conference.
The symptoms of the deceased man included having a fever, vomiting and internal bleeding as well as rapid deterioration of the body, which raised suspicions, Xinhua reported.
Samples from the man had been sent to Germany for tests to find out the cause of his death, Kostovska said.
The Briton arrived Oct 2 in Skopje and was rushed to hospital Thursday where he passed away several hours later.
The hotel Super 8 where he stayed has been sealed off and the deceased man's travelling companion, another Briton, is quarantined.
