Late Actress Brittany Murphy's last film "Something Wicked" will hit the screens April 4 in Eugene, US, where it was shot.
The movie's debut comes four years after her death. She died in December 2009 from pneumonia, anaemia and multiple drug intoxication. She was 32, reports people.com.
Five months later her husband Simon Monjack, died under similar circumstances, with the cause of death officially ruled as acute pneumonia and severe anaemia.
Produced by Joe Colleran, "Something Wicked" is a psychological thriller about a young couple embarking on their honeymoon against their parents' wish. When the parents are tragically taken in an auto accident, gruesome secrets from the couple's past come back to haunt them and ensure the couple does not live happily ever after.
"Murphy plays a psychiatrist who observes the couple's deteriorating relationship and sets out to determine what sinister forces are driving the madness," said Colleran.
The movie will expand to Portland and Seattle a week later.
"I would describe Brittany's performance as the most chilling performance of her career," added Colleran.
