Stock exchange major BSE on Thursday said it will auction debt investment limits to enable foreign investors to purchase corporate bonds worth Rs 8,314 crore.
The auction shall be conducted on November 24 on its "ebidxchange" platform post market hours from 3.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m., BSE said in a circular.
Live bidding session for allocation of debt investment limits for FII (foreign institutional investors), FPI (foreign portfolio investors) or sub accounts shall be conducted on November 24 on exchange's "ebidxchange" platform, the circular said.
BSE said it will conduct a mock bidding session on Thursday after the close of market hours from 3.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
The debt auction quota gives FPIs the right to invest in the debt up to the limit purchased.
