The captain of a passenger boat that capsized over the weekend in Indonesia has been rescued, rescue mission coordinator Andi Sultan said on Tuesday.
Boat captain Asdar was found in Palopo waters of South Sulawesi, Xinhua cited Sultan as saying.
"Now, he is being treated at Siwa Hospital in South Sulawesi," he added.
With the rescue of the captain, more information about the cause of the incident is expected to be disclosed.
Three people drowned and 74 others were missing when the boat carrying 118 people capsized off Sulawesi Island on Saturday.
A total of 41 people, including the captain, have been rescued, according to Sultan.
KM Marina Baru 02B was en route from Kolaka in Sulawesi to Siwa seaport in South Sulawesi.
The boat was hit by a storm, said Zainul Tjahar, spokesman of the national search and rescue office.
