Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) president Nasser Al-Khelaifi was all praise for Uruguayan forward Edinson Cavani, who scored in his side's battling 1-0 away win over APOEL Nicosia.
With three minutes remaining in the Champions League clash in Cyprus, Cavani converted the match-winning goal Tuesday night, to keep Laurent Blanc's team a point clear of Barcelona at the top of Group F, reports Xinhua.
Al-Khelaifi was clearly very happy with the three points.
"It is always complicated to play here," he said while being interviewed by Canal Plus Wednesday.
"It was a difficult game and it was important to get the three points because this way we can stay on top of the group."
The PSG supremo deemed a fit squad the reason for Tuesday's victory.
"Everybody is available now and we have Cavani, who proved that he is the best striker in the world," he said.
