Flaying the Centre for shunting out Delhi Chief Secretary K.K. Sharma, the AAP on Tuesday accused it of creating circumstances which don't let the AAP government to work in the capital.
Aam Aadmi Party leader Ashutosh told the media that ever since the AAP came to power in Delhi, officers who worked well had been removed by the Centre and replaced by those who do not even want to work.
"They (Centre) are creating circumstances which do not allow the elected government to work for the people but the AAP would continue its good work despite all these obstacles," Ashutosh said.
Reports say IAS officer M.M. Kutty will be the new Chief Secretary in the Delhi government. He served as a Principal Secretary to former Chief M Minister Sheila Dikshit.
Ashutosh said the AAP government was not consulted regarding Kutty's appointment.
"We hope that whoever is appointed works according to rules and regulations and remains answerable to the public and the Constitution," the AAP leader said.
