Delhiites woke up to a chilly Tuesday morning with the minimum temperature settling a notch below the season's average at 6.1 degrees Celsius. The Met Office has forecast a clear day ahead.
"The day will remain clear though fog was witnessed in the morning," said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.
The visibility in the morning dropped to 500 metres.
According to Northern Railway, as many as 58 trains were behind schedule and two were rescheduled.
The day's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 18 degrees Celsius.
Monday's maximum temperature was recorded one notch below the season's average at 19 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled a notch below the season's average at 6.6 degrees Celsius.
