It was a chilly weekend for the capital despite a sunny start to the day. Monday morning is likely to see shallow fog.
While the maximum temperature Sunday was recorded at 20.6 degrees Celsius - normal for this time of the season, the minimum was one notch below average at 6.3 degrees Celsius.
"Monday might see shallow fog in the morning and witness maximum and minimum temperatures of 19 and 7 degrees Celsius, respectively," said an official of the met department.
According to a Northern Railways official, 11 trains were cancelled Sunday and 38 trains delayed due to fog in some parts of northern India.
Flights operated normally and there was no cancellation or delay due to the Delhi weather, said a statement from the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
