Chinese President Xi Jinping will pay state visits to Indonesia, and Malaysia besides attending the 21st economic leaders' meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum next month, the government said Sunday.
President Xi has been invited by Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Malaysian Supreme Head of State Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah, respectively, reported Xinhua citing the foreign ministry's spokesperson Qin Gang.
The meet is scheduled to be held in Indonesian island of Bali between Oct 2-8. APEC is the premier Asia-Pacific economic forum whose primary goal is to support sustainable economic growth and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region.
