Vatican City, Nov 18 (IANS/AKI) The Catholic Church "is not a football team that is looking for supporters," Pope Francis said on Friday.
"The Church never growth through proselytism but through its attractiveness," Francis told the Catholic daily Avvenire, whose main shareholder is the Italian Bishops Conference, in an interview.
"Proselytism among Christians is a grave sin because it contradicts the very dynamic by which we become and remain Christians," he said.
