Delhiites woke up to a pleasant windy morning Tuesday, as the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.9 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year. The Met office has forecast a clear day with no rainfall.
"The skies will remain clear Tuesday, with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 36 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 64 percent.
Since the arrival of the monsoon, the city has recorded 781.4 mm or rain -- 43 percent above average.
Monday's maximum temperature was recorded at 35.9 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled a notch above average at 27 degrees Celsius.
