British comedian Jason Byrne will on Friday take to the stage in Bengaluru for his India debut here, and subsequently perform in Mumbai and Delhi.

Byrne will perform at the MLR Whitefield, courtesy AGP World, producers of theatrical plays like "History Of India", "Blame It On Yashraj", "Bottoms Up", "Two To Tango, Three To Jive", "The Scent Of A Man" and "Battle Of Da Sexes".

He will have a four-show run in the cities.

"I am keen to work in India and super excited to come in for my debut showcase. I have signed up exclusively with AGP World's international talent roster to manage my career in India," Byrne said in a statement issued by the organisers.

With a career spanning over two decades, Byrne has appeared on TV shows and has also been a part of the radio world with a self-titled show.

The topics he covers are nothing out of the ordinary but his delivery adds comedy to his acts. His forte lies in the way in which he interacts with the audience throughout the entire show.

The visually aesthetic show titled "Jason Bryne Is Propped Up" is where he revisits his comedy roots, and where he manages to find Ducks, False Chins, Portable Igloos, Bewildered Owls, Dolphins and much more.

Ashvin Gidwani, Managing Director, AGP World, said: "You have no idea what can be achieved on a live comedy stage until you have seen Jason spew forth more ideas in a couple of hours than most comics could hope to do in a couple of lifetimes.

"If you've seen him once, just saying or hearing his name makes you laugh out loud. He holds the audience in the palm of his hand throughout this standup tour-de-force and having them cracking up within minutes of walking onto the stage."

In Bengaluru, the comedian will perform at MLR Whitefield, in Mumbai he will take to stage at the Tata Theatre in NCPA on Saturday and in the capital, the Kamani Auditorium will play host to Byrne on Sunday.
