Congress candidates files nomination for MP bypolls

Congress candidates on Wednesday filed their nominations for the Mungaoli and Kolaras assembly bypolls in Madhya Pradesh in presence of senior party leaders and also held roadshows.

Brajendra Yadav has been fielded as Congress candidate in Mungaoli in Ashoknagar district and Mahendra Yadav has been fielded from Shivpuri's Kolaras.

Both filed their nominations in presence of senior party leaders Kamal Nath, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Ajay Singh, Suresh Pachouri, Kantilal Bhuria and party state president Arun Yadav along with party state in-charge Deepak Babaria, according to Congress sources.

The leaders also did roadshows in Kolaras and Mungaoli, and later told reporters that it is time for the BJP to go

The bypolls are very important for the Congress, since both these areas come under Scindia's Guna constituency and were held by the party, .

These seats are also important for the ruling BJP so that they can prove that the power of Scindia is going down and people are choosing Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
