The Congress Thursday said it will campaign against the AAP and the BJP in Delhi by taking 25 local issues where, it claims, both the parties have failed, to the public.
"We have prepared a 25-point charge sheet against the AAP and the BJP. The copies of the 25-point charge-sheet would be distributed in different parts of Delhi during the 'Jan Jagran Abhiyaan' meetings," party leader Haroon Yusuf said at a press conference.
Delhi Congress chief Arvinder Singh Lovely also announced that he will submit these 25 points, which include high power bills, regularisation of unauthorised colonies, health of Yamuna, food security schemes, to Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung Friday, demanding action against both the parties.
Although the assembly in Delhi, which has been under President's Rule for the past six months, is yet to be dissolved, the Congress has geared up for campaigning for polls.
Yusuf also accused the BJP-led central government of creating hurdles in regularising unauthorised colonies.
"A lot of noise has been created on the drinking water issue, but nothing has been done for its equitable distribution," he complained.
