Chinese smartphone maker Coolpad on Friday launched its Note 3 Lite at a price tag of Rs.6,999 here.
The latest-released device, the next edition of the company's widely-popular fingerprint smartphone Coolpad Note 3, would be exclusively available on Amazon.in.
The Note 3 Lite features a fingerprint sensor, 5.0 inch HD screen, 3GB RAM and 16GB in built storage, a company statement said here. The memory of the phone, that supports 4G, can be extended up to 64 GB through a Micro SD card.
Featuring a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, the phone houses 2,500 mAh battery.
LI Bin, chief executive of the Coolpad Group said he was committed to producing products in India under the "Make in India" programme.
"...we are proud to announce that, by the first quarter of 2016, we will start manufacturing Coolpad Note 3 from Videocon's Aurangabad factory. Our target is to produce 1 million "Made in India" Coolpad phones."
Coolpad Note 3 Lite will be available in champagne white and black variants.
