Several couplets written for Onir's forthcoming film "Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz" -- but not used in it -- will be published in a book.

Music giant Saregama's latest offering "Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz" under the banner Yoodlee Films is a modern-day take on love in the time of technology, told through a sweet tale of romance with two primary characters - RJ Alfaaz (played by debutant actor Zain Khan Durrani and Archana, a meme artist (played by national award-winning actress Geetanjali Thapa).

RJ Alfaaz seems to be in love with using couplets for his conversations. During the production of the film, director Onir got Abhishek Chatterjee to write the words.

While some were used in the film, makers have now decided to publish a book consisting of the 'shayaris' that couldn't become a part of the film. The book will get published after the film's release of the film, read a statement.

"Many of the 'shayaris' are beautiful and I was feeling heartbroken that I could not use them in the film. I am thrilled that my film's producers have decided to bring out a book with them. It will be a precious book titled 'Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz'."

The film will release on February 16.
