CRPF Constable Jaswant Singh, killed on Saturday by militants in Jammu and Kashmir, was cremated on Sunday with full state honours at his village near here in Haryana.
The state government announced Rs 50 lakh for his family. Jaswant Singh is survived by his father, mother, wife Rekha, daughter Deepika (11) and son Keshav (8).
His wife, Rekha Yadav, is a constable in Delhi Police.
Jaswant Singh was among the eight security personnel killed in a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.
His body reached the Palam airport in Delhi. After a wreath-laying ceremony in Delhi, the mortal remains were moved to his Shaikhupur Majri village, 36 km from Gurugram.
Gurugram Deputy Commissioner Vinay Pratap Singh paid tributes to Jaswant Singh on behalf of the Haryana government.

Pataudi MLA Bimla Chaudhary announced an ex-gratia of Rs 50 lakh to his family. It was also announced that a government school in the village would be named after Jaswant Singh.
Jaswant Singh joined the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in 2003. The youngest among five brothers and two sisters, three of his brothers are in the Indian Army.
