Fernandinho and Yaya Toure were sent off as Manchester City suffered a shocking 1-2 defeat against CSKA Moscow in a group stage match of the UEFA Champions League.
They were shown second yellow cards in the second half as Seydou Doumbia, who played an important role for CSKA in their 2-2 draw in Moscow, scored both goals for the Russian side Wednesday, reports Xinhua.
Doumbia put CSKA ahead just after 96 seconds when he headed a Bebras Natcho free-kick from the centre of the box to the top right corner.
Five minutes later, Toure levelled the score with an exquisite free-kick from 24 metres.
In the 34th minute, Doumbia received a pass from Nacho again and drove home ruthlessly from the left.
With this loss, City stayed at bottom of Group E with only two points from four games.
