It's true that "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" is being published in a book form but author J.K. Rowling says it is not a novel.
The book will contain the script of the upcoming West End play, a collaboration work of Rowling, playwright Jack Thorne and director John Tiffany, reports aceshowbiz.com.
"To be clear! The script of 'Cursed Child' is being published. Not a novel, not a prequel. The script will be in book form, true, but it's still not a prequel because it's set 19 years later," Rowling posted on Twitter.
"Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" will follow Potter as an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children. While Potter grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted.
The book is set to be released on July 31, one day after the stage production is due to premiere here.
