Actor Matt Damon has earned $3 million for appearing in a 20-second TV commercial for espresso coffee machine brand Nespresso in Britain.
The 43-year-old had joined actor George Clooney in the TVC in the advertisement, which was directed by Grant Heslov, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"Matt is one of the few Hollywood stars to have turned down most ad and product endorsement deals. But this one came with a huge fee and the fact that he'd be working with people he trusts, his 'The Monuments Men' producer Grant Heslov and co-star George Clooney," a source told the New York Post's Page Six.
Clooney has been the face of the Nestle coffee brand outside the US since 2006, and the ads usually play upon his irresistible charm with the ladies.
