Actor Danny Dyer is reportedly related to Queen Elizabeth II.
The "EastEnders" actor made the surprising discovery on an episode of BBC's genealogy documentary series "Who Do You Think You Are?" where he allowed researchers to delve into his family history only to find the connection, reports mirror.co.uk.
The episode is yet to be aired.
"People will be flabbergasted to discover the famous royal Danny is descended from. When he found out, he could hardly believe it himself. It makes for some gripping television," said a source
The 38-year-old, who grew up in London's East End says that he wanted to go on the show only to "freak a few people out".
Meanwhile, the new series of "Who Do You Think You Are?" will see a whole host of stars discover their past.

Singer Cheryl Cole, "Britain's Got Talent" judge Amanda Holden, actor Ian McKellen and newsreader Sophie Raworth are among those lined up.
"The Royle Family" star Ricky Tomlinson, Warwick Davis, presenter Liz Bonnin, comedian Greg Davies and actress Sunetra Sarker have also agreed to take part.
