Bijender Yadav, a criminal who carried a reward of Rs.1 lakh on his head, has been arrested here, police said on Wednesday.
Yadav, declared a proclaimed offender in four cases, was taken into custody on Tuesday from his house at Shalimar Bagh following a tip off.
A police officer said a locally-made pistol was seized from Yadav, whose arrest was described as "a professional and clinical operation".
A school dropout, Yadav was first arrested in 1997 for buying stolen property. He contested municipal councillor elections from Jahangirpuri area in 2007.
