"West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar have confirmed their attendance in the conclave. West Bengal CM has already reached the city on Tuesday," the official told IANS.

He added that confirmation from the chief ministers of other states was yet to come.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will send a recorded message on the issue as he is busy in the preparations for the assembly elections in his state, the official said.

The Delhi government had sent invitation to all chief ministers to discuss the centre-state relationship but only chief ministers of non-Bharatiya Janata Party and non-Congress-ruled states are expected to attend the meeting.

Communist Party of India-Marxist general secretary Sitaram Yechury earlier had said that after Kejriwal became chief minister, his party had suggested him to convene a meeting of non-BJP chief ministers.
