A day after heavy showers, Delhi experienced muggy Friday as the humidity wavered between a high of 87 and low of 62 percent. The Met Office has forecast rain in the city Saturday.
"The sky will be generally cloudy with rain and thundershowers in Delhi NCR (National Capital Region) Saturday," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The day's maximum temperature settled a notch above the season's average at 34.5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled at 26 degrees Celsius, average for the season.
Saturday's maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 35 and 26 degrees Celsius.
Thursday was cloudy with a maximum temperature of 37.2 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 28.4 degrees Celsius.
