India's marathon man Ashis Roy added another half marathon to his bag to take his overall tally to 137 as he completed his 22nd 13-mile run in the Delaware Marathon.
Roy, who turns 82 next month, running for the second time with his daughter Amrita, a senior planner at Amtrak, America's railway system, won the second prize in the 80-85 age group in the marathon in Wilmington city.
The marathon attracted 625 marathoners, 1,325 half-marathoners and 1,300 relay runners.
However, he was very much disappointed with his timing of three hours, 48 minutes and 15 seconds, which was 24 minutes more than his last US run in the Rock 'n' Roll Philadelphia half marathon last September.
A resident of Delhi's Chittaranjan Park, Roy runs his next half marathon in the US in Alexandria, a Washington suburb in Virginia, May 25.
Roy, who switched over to half-marathons after a spinal injury in November 2011, took to running marathons at the age of 52.
