At least 26 children have been united with their families in the past two weeks through the Operation Milap launched by Delhi Police.
"The Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of the Crime Branch has succeeded in reuniting 26 children hailing from various states, with their families," said Joint Commissioner of Police Ravindra Yadav.
During this special drive launched Dec 18, the officials checked each and every child in the children's homes and made all-out efforts to get any clue about their parents so that they could be restored properly, he said.
These children aged between 10 and 17 years, belonged to states like Manipur, Assam, Bihar, Harayana, Uttar Pradesh.
