A day after banning Maggie for 15 days, the Delhi government on Thursday sent samples of nine other brands of instant noodles, including Top Ramen, for testing.
"All the samples have been sent for health safety standard tests to labs accredited and recognised by the central government," a Delhi government official said.
Samples of Schezuan Noodles, Hakka Noodles (Chings) were also sent for testing.
The Delhi government on Wednesday slapped a 15-day ban on Maggie after some of its samples were found to contain lead in more than the permissible limit.
