The Delhi government Tuesday signed an agreement with National Building Construction Corporation Ltd. (NBCC) to build a 200-bed multi-speciality hospital in the city.

"We have engaged NBCC for construction of 200-bedded multi-speciality hospital at Ambedkar Nagar in south Delhi," Health Minister A.K. Walia said.

NBCC, which comes under the urban development ministry, would complete the construction in two years.

The hospital will be constructed at a cost of Rs.128 crore and half of its beds would be reserved for women and children, Walia said.
