Representatives of Indian industry, academia and defence officials will attend a two-day seminar on defence communication here.

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organising the DEFCOM in association with the Indian Army at the Manekshaw Centre in Delhi Cantonment.

The seminar is themed on "Adapting Commercial Technologies for Unifying ICTEC in Battle Space". Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar is likely to be the chief guest.

The Indian Army's Corps of Signals has always had a progressive outlook and been in the forefront of adapting commercial technologies for delivering state of the art ICTEC (Information, Communication Technologies, Electronic and Cyber) infrastructure to the Indian Army, an official release said.
