Computer electronics major Dell India on Tuesday expanded its 2-in-1 range of devices with the launch of new Inspiron 3000 — 11-inch — and 5000 series — 13-inch and 15-inch — 2-in-1 laptops with better design and improved performance.
The new range of devices provide the convenience of a tablet with the functionality of a laptop and a versatile 360-degree hinge enabling four modes — laptop, easel, tent or tablet — to suit the user's needs, offering flexibility of switching between a tablet and a personal computer in one fluid motion.
The Inspiron 11 3000 range starts from Rs 32,690 while Inspiron 13 5000 Series 2-in-1 is available for Rs 49,490. The devices are available on Dell stores, other offline stores like Croma and online on etailers Flipkart and Amazon.
"The all new Inspiron 3000 and 5000 2-in-1 devices are available with a wide range of processor options and configurable features, enabling students, families and users looking for great value to connect, learn and achieve more," Alen Jose, Product Marketing Director, Consumer and Small Business, Dell India, told reporters in New Delhi.
The Inspiron 5000 series 2-in-1 sports a brilliant wide-angle full high-definition resolution display. It comes with an infrared camera that works with Windows Hello facial recognition to unlock the device.
The 5000 Series 2-in-1 comes with options up to 6th generation Intel Core i7 processor coupled with a whopping 1 terra bytes storage space. The range is available in 13-inch and 15-inch screen sizes.
Powered by an 8 GB DDR4 RAM, device offers up to nine hours of battery backup. The starting weight of Inspiron 13 is 1.62 kg while Inspiron 15 weighs 2.08 kg.

The Inspiron 11 3000 Series 2-in-1 comes in two colours — bali blue and tango red. With up to 6th generation Intel Core m3 processors, the device is capable of delivering a high-responsive performance.
The device gives 8-plus hours of battery life and offers 500 GB of storage capacity.
Jose also said that the company has now upgraded their customer support with 24x7 service.
He said that customers using Dell laptops and have subscribed to premium customer support have a a new facility.
When a consumer experiences an issue with the laptop like overheating or unable to install a software, the device automatically sends a report to the customer care centre.
