US men's national football team captain Clint Dempsey has recovered from a left groin injury and is ready to play in the FIFA World Cup warm-up match against Turkey this weekend.
The US team finished the two-week training camp at Stanford, California Thursday. The 23-man squad would move to the eastern part of the country to prepare for Sunday's match, reports Xinhua.
The US would play Germany, Portugal and Ghana in Group G at the World Cup in Brazil.
