Chicago Bulls All-Star guard Derrick Rose will Monday have surgery on a medial meniscus in his right knee.
Rose was injured during the Bulls' 95-98 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers Friday. He scored 20 points before tearing his medial meniscus in the third quarter, reports Xinhua.
Rose earlier had be out for 18 months because of left knee injury until he restarted playing this season. The former MVP averages 15.9 points and 4.3 assists for the Bulls in the 2013-2014 season.
