Designer Payal Khandwala and Lakme Salon are collaborating to present the Show Stopping Illuminate Bridal Collection at the upcoming Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2016. The show will conceptualise fierce and modern hair and make-up looks.
"Our muse, a powerful yet gentle monarch, is not content playing princess, she'd rather be king. By blending opulent shades and gold, her style will truly encapsulate the supremacy of majestic women in every look," Khandwala said in a statement.
Lakme Salon's Show Stopping Illuminate Bridal Collection will reinforce that in a modern day context. It's a collection focusing on giving the new-age bride her stately moment to radiate and feel just like a king on her dream day.
"This season, through a colour palette that varies from elegant pastels, nudes and coral to royal red and gold, Lakme Salon experts will provide two facets to the imperial bride: modern and classic," said Sushma Khan, National Creative Director - Make-up, Lakme Salon.
