Russia's Dinamo Moscow FC, suspended last June from the Europa League's 2015-16 season over violations of financial fair-play regulations, has signed a memorandum of cooperation with one of world's top football agents Jorge Mendes.
"Yes, Dinamo signed a memorandum of cooperation with (Jorge) Mendes," club spokesman Konstantin Alekseyev said on Monday, reports Tass.
"The details will be announced later."
Mendes, 49, is one of the world's most influential football agents, often referred to in media as "super-agent." He started his career of a football agent in 1996 after opening GestiFute company and is registered with the Portuguese Football Federation.
The Portuguese agent jumpstarted his career brokering transfer deals involving Ricardo Quaresma, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Figo. In 2004 Mendes signed a deal with coach Jose Mourinho and brokered his move from FC Porto to manage Chelsea FC.
The database of Mendes' clients currently lists over 200 players, including Fabio Coentrao, Pepe, Joao Moutinho, Nani, Angel Di Maria, Radamel Falcao, Burak Yilmaz and Victor Valdes.
Last year in mid-June, Dinamo would be excluded from participating in the next European club competition, because the Moscow-based football club failed to comply with the break-even requirement set out by the continent's governing body UEFA's regulations on fair-play principles.
