Kannada cinematographer-turned-director Krishna S is interested in roping in actor Amitabh Bachchan to play a prominent role in upcoming trilingual "Hebbuli". However, he is yet to approach the Bollywood megastar.
"Hebbulia", which features superstar Sudeep in the lead, will be made in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil.
"I'm definitely interested in casting Bachchan sir but I haven't approach him yet. It will be wonderful to see him and Sudeep share the screen space after 'Rann'. I might meet him in the first week of January provided I get an appointment," Krishna told IANS.
Krishna also has a few Bollywood actors in mind for the role, but his first preference will be Big B.
"We will start shooting soon in Kashmir. I haven't zeroed in on the heroin yet too. I think I'll first cast my heroine and then finalize the rest of my cast," he added.
Meanwhile, Krishna is basking in the success of his Kannada directorial debut "Gajakesari", which turned out to be one of the biggest hits this year.
