Disney has donated $1 million to a fund established by the Mayor of Orlando to aid those affected by the mass shooting in the city.
The entertainment conglomerate announced the donation, the OneOrlando Fund, on Tuesday and said it would match additional donations from Disney employees, dollar for dollar.
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer created the fund, reports variety.com.
The shooter, who killed 49 people and injured more than 50 in a nightclub here, reportedly had made prior visits to both the night spot and to an entertainment and shopping complex, Disney Springs.
