A team of four doctors here conducted a second medical examination of the two Nepalese women who have alleged they were raped and gangraped by a Saudi Arabian diplomat, police said on Thursday.
The doctors conducted the second test on Wednesday following a request by the case investigating officer.
Gurgaon police chief Navdeep Singh Virk said the second medical examination was conducted to amplify the findings of the first medical report and also obtain an opinion from a committee of doctors rather than one.
He said the medical reports have great evidentiary value in such cases and are most helpful in reaching a fair conclusion.
Gurgaon Police, in its latest report sent to the ministry of external affairs on Thursday, has presented all the facts that have come forth in the investigation so far.
Keeping in mind the provisions of the Vienna Convention governing diplomatic immunity, Virk has requested assistance from the ministry in conducting further investigation into the matter.

The ministry has also requested Gurgaon police to be aware of all international protocols to be followed in such cases.
It has also been clarified to the ministry that the allegations levelled by the Saudi Arabian embassy have been verified and that Gurgaon police have acted within the purview of Indian law, and have not violated the provisions of any diplomatic convention or protocol.
According to a police complaint filed here on Tuesday, two Nepalese women alleged that they were raped, gang-raped and subjected to unnatural sex by a Saudi diplomat over four months, and also by his friends and guests. They further alleged that his wife and daughter also harassed them and beat them.
Gurgaon police chief Navdeep Singh Virk, however, told the media on Wednesday: "An FIR doesn't mean that the allegation has been proven, but (it means the) start of investigation."
Virk said on Thursday: "I believe that we have carried out a quick, transparent and scientific investigation so far in this case, and presented our findings before the ministry of external affairs (MEA)."
"We are awaiting further instructions from MEA who now have to guide and assist us to carry out this investigation further. The finer details of investigation cannot be revealed at this stage as the matter is sensitive and may affect relations between two nations," Virk added.
The two Nepalese women have alleged that they were lured to India, "sold" to the diplomat, and held captive for over three months during which they were taken to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia for a few days. They alleged that they were forced to perform "unnatural sex" for the diplomat and his friends at knife-point.
The women were on Monday evening "rescued" from an apartment on the fifth floor of the Ambience Island Caitriona complex in Gurgaon. They were "rescued" after the intervention of the Nepalese embassy and with the help of NGO Maiti Nepal-India.
The Gurgaon police had registered cases against the diplomat and "unknown people" said to be the diplomat's friends on Tuesday at the DLF-2 police station under sections of gang-rape (376 D), rape (376), unnatural sex (377) and some other sections of Indian Penal Code including 342, 323 and 120B (conspiracy).
No arrests have been made so far.
