Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has urged his fans and well-wishers to pitch in to make "this world a better place for children" by not employing them.
He tweeted: "Each of us has the power to make this world a better place for children. #dont_employ_little_ones".
The cine icon has raised his voice against the social menace of child labour at a time when several celebrities like cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar and chess maestro Viswanathan Anand, along with a number of stars like Soha Ali Khan, Mandira Bedi, and actor Kunal Kemmu, have joined Reliance General Insurance's Twitter campaign against child labour that was launched last week.
Amitabh, who has been entertaining his fans with his films for over four decades now, also appreciated the dedication and talent of the young minds working in filmmaking.
He posted: "What a day at 'Pink'! Watching young talent put in amazing work ... whole unit claps ... so deserving. Happiness is being in the company of incredible young talent! Laughter and tears of joy! God bless them."
Produced by Shoojit Sircar, "Pink" is being directed by Bengali filmmaker Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, and also stars Taapsee Pannu.
