Actress Drew Barrymore expressed her love to her mother Jaid in a touching tribute that she posted on social media.
In the emotional post that she posted on Instagram on Tuesday, the "Big Miracle" actress admitted that she had a bad relationship with her mother in the past, reports aceshowbiz.com.
"Today I wrote a book. And as I thank and celebrate many women this week, I must say a huge thank you to my mother," Barrymore wrote alongside a black-and-white image of her as a little girl holding an ice cream while sitting on her mom's lap.
The 40-year-old actress then quoted what she wrote in the acknowledgements in her book "Wildflower".
"As I say in the acknowledgments, 'Thank you for my life. I am ever so pleased to be here!' We have had quite a road, but it is paved with gratitude. #amazingwomenweek #wildflowerbook and thank you to the @drewseum for the photo!" she wrote.
