Defending champions East Bengal thrashed Bengal Nagpur Railways (BNR) FC 6-0 to clinch their 100th win in the Calcutta Football League (CFL) premier division here on Friday.
East Bengal's newest recruit, South Korean attacking midfielder Do Dong-hyun, was the star of the match netting a hat-trick, to help notch up his team's 100th win in the premier division, which started in 2005.
Striker Mohammed Rafique, Nigerian defender Bello Rasaq and Jiten Murmu also got into the scoresheet for the men in red and gold shirts.
The first goal was headed in by Rafique in the 24th minute of the game. Three minutes later Rasaq scored for East Bengal after latching onto a cross from the left.
East Bengal led 2-0 at half-time.
After the breather East Bengal stepped on the gas again as Do Dong netted his first of the afternoon in the 57th minute.

At the 82nd minute Dong found the back of the net again. In the second-half injury time Murmu and the South Korean added two more, taking the total goal tally to six.
East Bengal next play Army XI on August 19.
