At least eight persons died in three separate road accidents in Jharkhand on Friday, police said.
The first accident took place in Ramgarh district after a tractor driver lost control and hit an auto-rickshaw and two bikes.
Three persons died on the spot and six were injured. One of the injured died later.
The second accident happened in Gumla district when a truck carrying around 10 persons fell from a bridge. Three persons died and seven were injured.
The third accident took place in Latehar district when a bike was hit by a truck. One person died and the bike caught fire.
