Engineers India Ltd on Wednesday reported an over 27 per cent rise in its standalone profit after tax to Rs 119.17 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2017, as compared to Rs 93.75 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The leading engineering consultancy firm's revenue from operations in the quarter under review was at Rs 429.09 crore, up by 27 per cent from Rs 338.88 crore in the year-ago period.
The company said in terms of segment revenue, the consultancy and engineering projects clocked revenue of Rs 333.02 crore in the September quarter as against Rs 274.92 crore in the year-ago period. The turkey projects posted revenue of Rs 96.06 crore in the July to September period as compared to Rs 63.96 crore in the same period last year.
It also reported that its net profit after tax for the first six months of the current fiscal was at Rs 200.55 crore as against Rs 174.05 crore in the year-ago period.
